Contemporary Integrative Dry Needling ™ aka Dry Needling for Physical Therapy is the manual therapy that organically combines works of Dr J. Travell (1982, 1992), Dr C. Gunn (1978), clinical evidence, evidence-based research and Dr Ma’s own 40 years of clinical and research experience and neuroscience training, representing a new medical modality. Dr Ma’s Integrative Dry Needling system for physical therapy applies both analytical and synthetic approaches and treats both local and systemic symptoms.
